    Pasadena is located in north-east Anne Arundel County. It is bordered by Baltimore and Annspolis and situated to access waters of Patapsco River and Magothy River. Most of the earliest non-rural development in Pasadena began along Mountain Road, which existed even before the advent of the automobile. Pasadena began as farmlands and dirt roads, then becoming popular for beach access. Although Pasadena has evolved to include multiple family communities,  one can still find historical landmarks throughout Pasadena.

    Pasadena is neither predominantly blue-collar nor white-collar, instead having a mixed workforce of both blue-collar and white-collar jobs. Overall, Pasadena is a town of professionals, sales and office workers, and managers.  Pasadena has been described as “a small town feel right outside of a big city.” Pasadena offers homes for all types of home buyers to include golf-cart communities, waterfront, water privileged, townhouses, and condos. There are 2 high schools, 2 middle schools, and 5 elementary schools. Pasadena is centrally located to Baltimore, Annapolis, Ft. Meade, and NSA, making this community ideal for many home buyers.
